Nagano Walking Privacy Policy

Effective September 8, 2026

Nagano Walking is an interval walking timer for iPhone. Nagano Walking collects no data. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no servers of its own. Nothing you do in the app is sent to the developer or to anyone else.

What stays on your phone

Deleting the app removes the settings and walk log. The trial record in the Keychain is carried over if you restore the phone from a backup, and is removed when the device is erased or set up as new.

Purchases

The one-time "Nagano Walking Lifetime Unlock" is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. The app asks Apple whether the purchase has been made; it never sees your payment details or Apple Account. Apple's handling of purchase data is described in Apple's privacy policy.

Lock screen

During a walk the app shows a Live Activity on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island: a countdown to the end of the walk and its progress. If you allow notifications, it also shows a silent banner at each pace change. Both are generated on the device; no notification service or push token is involved, and you can turn either off in iOS Settings without affecting the walk.

Audio

Nagano Walking plays sound cues through your headphones or speaker during a walk. It does not use the microphone.

Children

Nagano Walking collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
